The Chimay Trappist Monastery is one of the world’s oldest and active breweries, being the first of seven authorized producers that can bear the designation “TRAPPIST”.

As such, every step of the brewing is internally handled in the monastery, under the full supervision and control of the Trappist Monks.

Most importantly, all income generated from their beers goes towards supporting the monastery and charitable causes.

The Trappist Monks continue, with great devotion and severity despite their higher average age and wide market competition, producing one of the most recognized and excellent beers in the world.
